The Fibershot C-8 Multi-Function OTDR is a technician’s primary meter when a site mixes fiber, IP cameras, and copper Ethernet. Run a full 1310/1550 nm OTDR with automatic event analysis, cross-check with the integrated OPM/VFL/LS, then pivot to IP camera diagnostics, PoE++ checks, and RJ45 TDR without swapping tools. An 8″ 1920×1200 IPS screen and Android UI keep traces, camera streams, and network apps just a tap away. Reports export in SOR/PDF/EXCEL, so handover is plug-and-play for your client.

Optical power budget made simple
Measure at 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625 nm (−70…+6 dBm). Identify breaks/bends with a 650 nm VFL. Drive continuity/fiber ID with a wavelength-matched adjustable light source (CW/270/330/1 k/2 k Hz).

Networking you can trust
Dual 1000 M ports, SFP slot, Wi-Fi test, ping, IP scan, PPPoE, and port flashing. Validate UTP pairs and use RJ45 TDR for length and fault localization.

Video workflows without a laptop
Open Chrome to the camera UI, view H.265 streams, test 8 MP TVI/CVI/AHD, and use HDMI/VGA inputs to check encoders and DVRs. Verify PoE++ output & voltage/power on site.
