Speaking on the importance of optical fiber networks for 5G introduction in India, Anurag Saxena, managing director of Star Group said,
“The dream of Digital India cannot be realised without vast of optical fiber spread across the length and breadth of the country. In particular, telcos will have to rely on millions of miles of fiber optic cables to allow 5G devices across the globe to connect with each other. For 5G to grow and flourish in the country, wireless carriers need to take advantage of high-capacity fiber networks.”
